Little Jessi Originals all began when I tried to replicate a lovie that was given to Nola by her Pinky. It was love at first sight. I knew at that moment she had to have more. I also knew that my friends with babies on the way had to have one, too.
So, after failing to convince Pinky to make more, I took matters into my own hands. I unboxed my sewing machine I had gotten for Christmas. By the way, I had never sewn anything before. I then made my first lovie. A year and a half later, Nola still insists on sleeping with Pinky’s lovie and the first one I made her. Oh, and it had many flaws.
After all of my friends saw Nola’s lovie, I began getting request to make one for their babies. One thing led to another, I started creating more and more, and I decided to give them a name: Little Jessi Originals.
I try to incorporate my much neglected Art Degree into each lovie I make, and most importantly I give each one a lot of love and attention. I won’t sell it to you unless I am happy. Believe me I have scrapped a lot of lovies and Nola has gotten a few flawed ones. Nola and her baby dolls could care less. They are perfect to her.
I very rarely make two lovies alike. Each lovie is created with it’s future owner in mind. I can match the colors to the nursery or whatever you request. Just let me know what you are wanting. I love to personalize each lovie with the child’s initial or name if possible.
Most of the lovies can be thrown into the wash with everything else, and dried normally. Some of the furry lovies need to be washed separately, and air fluffed to dry.
My one request, is that you please allow your lovies to be loved. That is what they are created for.
